As a company in the gas and fuel industry, what are you doing to reduce carbon footprint and become better stewards of the environment?

BringFuel offers biodiesel and continues researching other renewable energy resources. We are very knowledgeable about the fuel industry’s evolution, including renewable diesel (R99), Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) as a renewable diesel alternative, biodiesel (bioDSL), and renewable propane, along with federal and state incentives related to bio and renewable fuels.

Also, our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance means that your site will operate with less risk of contamination or impact to the environment.

To reduce paper waste, we offer e-invoicing and online payment methods. Contact us today to sign up for both.

You say you Bring Safety. What does that mean?

We are committed to safety in everything we do. We focus on spill prevention and mitigation,  immediate spill response, recovery plans, and execution. Our BringFuel team stays updated on all of the latest environmental and regulatory compliance information and standards, and we also pull the permits you need to stay compliant in today’s ever-changing regulatory world.

We have also scaled our business to mitigate possible exposure in today’s pandemic-impacted world. Beyond use of PPE where needed, some of the steps we have taken include offering e-invoices instead of handing out tickets at the delivery location and implementing tank monitors, so drivers don’t have to stop every day, which creates one less touchpoint of contact.

What is an Environmental Fee and why do you charge it?

An environmental fee is not uncommon in our industry. Our daily operations involve managing a considerable quantity of fuel, oil, and other potentially hazardous materials. With our focus on safety, we do everything we can to make sure these supplies are appropriately handled and disposed of, so they do not cause environmental damage by leaking into ground water or other local water supplies or create any other safety hazard.

To ensure all of this is done correctly, we place continued investment in equipment that is fuel efficient, facilities with lower emissions, well-maintained tools and systems to contain and eliminate waste, and recycle, remove, and dispose of any related waste products, along with the administration and government reporting costs that are associated with these actions.

These efforts result in some large direct and indirect expenses for our organization, and to help offset those costs, we charge a reasonable environmental fee. THIS FEE IS NOT A TAX OR OTHER GOVERNMENTAL CHARGE. This fee goes directly to support our efforts to be an environmentally conscious business and to enable us to operate and meet or exceed government regulations, while also maintaining the quality service and products our customers expect from BringFuel.
